Last evening a member travelling in the Bahamas suffered a traumatic injury and required transfer to a level 1 trauma center in Florida. Once the information was gathered our crew responded immediately. Upon reaching the member in Doctor’s Hospital, Nassau we transported them to The Ryder Trauma center in Miami landing on the rooftop heliport greatly reducing the overall transport time and reducing any further discomfort for the patient.

This Trauma victim made history as the FIRST nighttime helicopter air ambulance trauma victim ever transferred from Doctor’s Hospital or the Bahamas! Another first for TROPIC AIR RESCUE.
